Biography

Cheng Shiyi is a 15th generation inheritor of the Wudang Sanfeng Sect, direct disciple of Master Zhong Yunlong, and currently serves as Vice President of the Yangxin County Taoist Association in Hubei Province.

In 1998, Cheng traveled to Wudang Mountain to formally study under Master Zhong Yunlong. Through years of dedicated practice, he mastered the complete curriculum of Wudang internal martial arts including Tai Chi, Bagua Palm, Fuhu Boxing, Eight Immortals Sword, and Five Elements Qigong.

Following his training, Cheng performed Wudang martial arts at venues throughout China and served as a coach at the prestigious Wudang Shixing Kung Fu Academy. His teaching expertise extends to all ages, from youth summer camps to adult practitioners seeking authentic Wudang instruction.

In 2017, Cheng conducted a special Tai Chi 13 Forms workshop for the Dafeng District Martial Arts Association in Yancheng. In 2023, he led a youth summer camp at Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi, introducing young practitioners to Wudang internal martial arts. His professional teaching style has earned praise from students and colleagues alike.
