Biography
Master Qiu Huifang has dedicated over 25 years to the art of tai chi, establishing herself as one of the world's foremost authorities on tai chi walking. She began her tai chi journey in 1993 and quickly rose to prominence, winning her first national championships in 1998.
In 1999, she achieved the pinnacle of tai chi excellence by winning the World Tai Chi Championship, a title she has defended multiple times throughout her career. Her technical mastery and deep understanding of tai chi principles led to her appointment as a key member of the international committee that established technical standards for tai chi instruction.
Since 2000, Master Qiu has served as Associate Professor at Beijing Institute of Technology, where she has trained thousands of students in authentic tai chi walking techniques. Her teaching philosophy combines traditional Chinese tai chi principles with modern wellness science, making her instruction accessible to practitioners worldwide.
