Biography
Chen Shixing (born 1982) is a 15th generation inheritor of the Wudang Sanfeng Sect and the renowned representative of Wudang Light Kung Fu. He currently serves as Director of the Wudang Shixing Tai Chi Academy.
Chen began practicing external martial arts at age 7. At 11, he journeyed to Wudang Mountain to seek his roots in internal martial arts, becoming a disciple of Master Zhong Yunlong. His natural talent and dedication earned him recognition as the youngest instructor at the Wudang Martial Arts Performance Team by age 18.
In 2007, Chen founded the Wudang Shixing Kung Fu Academy with the mission of making Wudang martial arts accessible to practitioners worldwide. The academy has since trained over 10,000 students from dozens of countries.
Chen's exceptional skills have attracted international attention. He was the star of CCTV's documentary "Tai Chi Wudang" and was featured in Hollywood director Chris Reeve's "Sacred Mountain." His demonstrations of Wudang Light Kung Fu have made him an internet sensation, introducing millions to the elegance and power of Wudang martial arts.
